DAY 01 :
ARRIVE
KOLKATA
On arrival meet and assist
at the airport and transfer to prebooked hotel.
DAY 02
: KOTKATA - NEW JALPAIGURI (OVERNIGHT
TRAIN)
After breakfast, half day city tour of Kolkata. Afternoon,
transfer to the railway station to board train for NJP. Overnight
in the train.
NOTE : You can also take a flight from Kolkata to Bagdogra.
DAY 03
: NEW JALPAIGURI - GANGTOK
Arrive NJP and board our vehicle which awaits you to
drive you to Gangtok. Arrive Gangtok and check in at prebooked hotel.
DAY 04
: GANGTOK
After breakfast proceed for sight seeing of the Rumtek
Monastery, Botanical Garden, Chorten Stupa, Institute of Tibetology,
Cottage Industry, Flower Show, Nam Nang View Point. Back to the
Hotel in the Evening and spend time for shopping and curio hunting.
DAY 05
: GANGTOK - LACHUNG
Pick up from the hotelat around 0900hrs. and proceed
towards North Sikkim. En route sight seeing of Kabi, Phodang Monastery,
lunch served at Phodang, Mangan, Singik, Chungthang, Maltim. Reach
resort in the evening at Lachung at around 1700hrs. O/N at Lachung
DAY 06
: LACHUNG
Proceed to Yumthang Valley after breakfast. A 60min.,
drive through Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary. Atrip to Sulphur Hot
Spring would be an unique experience. For the adventure lovers,
a trek through the sanctuary shall unfld the magic and mystery mother
nature beholds for you. A paradise for ornithologists, botanists
and photographers for the valley is compared by most to that of
Switzerland. Return to Lachung fo rlunch and set our again in the
backdrop of the rugged mountains and great water falls to visit
the Lachung Monastery, the Handicraft Centre and a pleasant drive
through the winding roads of the village situated by the side of
the roaring Lachung Chu (river). Take your time to interact with
the local village folks to get an understanding of their simple
philsophy.
DAY 07
: LACHUNG - GANGTOK
After breakfast you will be picked up from the resort
for your return jouney to Gangtok. Enroute Bhimnala, Maltim, twin
falls shall give you splendid photographs to cherish back home.
Arrive Gangtok and check in at prebooked hotel.
DAY 08
: GANGTOK - PELLING
After breakfast, leave for Pelling. Arrive Pelling and
check in at prebooked hotel. Afternoon, visit Pelling.
DAY 09
: PELLING
After breakfast proceed for sight seeing for sight seeing
of Pemayangsle Monastery, Rabdanse Palace Ruins, Kanchan Dezonga
Falls, Rimbi Falls, Kechapalri Lake. Back to the hotel in the evening.
DAY 10
: PELLING - NEW JALPAIGURI
After breakfast, transfer to NJP railway station to
board overnight train for Kolkata. Overnight in the train.
NOTE : You can also take a flight from Bagdogra to Kolkata.
DAY 11
: ARRIVE KOLKATA
On arrival meet
and assist at the railway station and transfer to prebooked hotel.
DAY 12
: DEPART KOLKATA
Transfer to the airport to board flight back home.
